a look to the future

Hayden's mom gave me this cool little kit for knitting a shopping bag out of hemp for xmas. I am pretty excited to get started on something that is not a baby blanket, although I always seem to be cursed whenever I make something for myself...I will just have to act like I am making it for someone else.

This is also perfect, since I have been trying to remember to bring my own bags to the grocery store whenever we need to pick something up. Our organic grocery delivery probably cuts down on our plastic bag use as well.

I will most likely get to work on this once I finish knitting the baby blanket, which will be soon!
